Der Sektkellerei Geiling gehörte auch die noch heute bekannte Champagner-Kellerei Deutz & Geldermann in Hagenau im Elsaß - doch diese Perle kassierten als Folge des 1. Weltkrieges die Franzosen 1918 entschädigungslos ein. 1929 Fusion mit der "Union-Sektkellerei AG" in Würzburg. Eine kleine, feine Marke, bis in den 90er Jahren der Hauptkunde (Sektkellerei Schloss Wachenheim) insolvent wurde: Geiling ging daraufhin unumkehrbar pleite, während - welche Ironie des Schicksals - der daran Schuldige (Wachenheim) gerettet wurde. | | Specials: | Faksimile-Unterschrift G.
