Der geniale Ingenieur Heinrich Lueg (1840-1917) gründete 1874 mit Ludwig und Franz Haniel die Maschinenfabrik "Haniel & Lueg". Heute ist davon nur noch ein Uhrenturm an der Grafenberger Allee in Düsseldorf übrig geblieben. Die Haniel-Lueg-Dynastie hat die Stadt Düsseldorf entscheidend geprägt.
