Sein ältester Sohn Lorenz Hutschenreuther erlangt 1857 die Konzession für eine eigene Porzellanfabrik in Selb (AG seit 1902). Beide AG’s expandieren stark, auch durch Übernahme von Konkurrenzbetrieben bis nach Dresden und Schlesien.
