Sitz bis 1912 in München. 1941 Fusion mit der "Vereinigte Bleicherdefabriken AG" in München und Umfirmierung in Süd-Chemie AG. 1974 zusätzlich Einstieg in das Geschäft mit Auto-Katalysatoren. Die bis heute börsennotierte AG macht in ihren Geschäftsbereichen Absorbentien und Katalysatoren mit 6.500 Mitarbeitern rd. 1,2 Mrd.
