Bei der Gründung der "Aktienbrauerei zur Traube" im Jahr 1885 wurde die Gustav Walch’sche Brauerei “Zur Traube” übernommen. 1907 Fusion mit der Löwenbrauerei E. Wiedemann und Umfirmierung in "Aktienbrauerei Traube und Löwe", seit 1920 dann Aktienbrauerei Kaufbeuren. In den 1920er Jahren Erwerb einer Mehrheitsbeteiligung an der Lammbrauerei AG in Mindelheim. Bis heute börsennotierte erfolgreiche Brauerei.
