Zweck: Schaffung von Logiermöglichkeiten an stark besuchten Reiseplätzen im In- und Ausland, Veranstaltung von Gesellschafts- und Pauschalreisen. Die Ges. betrieb ein Reisebüro in Berlin-Charlottenburg (Kantstr. 135) sowie ein eigenes Logierhaus in Pörtschach am Wörthersee. Vertretungen in Ragusa (Dalmatien), Florenz, Rom, Neapel, Palermo, Cairo etc. Zwar ahnte Berners Konzept die Zukunft des von einem Anbieter organisierten Pauschalurlaubs sehr weise voraus. Aber nach dem 2. Weltkrieg hatten die Deutschen zunächst andere Interessen als Reisen.
