(510 Meilen), die auch durch die Pipe Stone Indian Reservation führte. Die Stadt Cedar Rapuids war inzwischen ein bedeutendes Wirtschaftszentrum geworden, insbesondere durch Sinclair Meatpacking (damals einer der größten Fleischverarbeiter des Landes) und die Quaker Oats Co., die 1873 in Cedar Rapids die größte Getreidemühle der Welt baute. 1902 an die Burlington, Cedar Rapids & Northern RR verpachtet, damit Teil des Chicago-Rock Island-Systems geworden.
