Sehr dekoratives Papier mit zwei weiblichen Allegorien, mittig Kapitol in Washington D.C. Original signiert von William Woods Holden (1818-1892) als Gouverneur von North Carolina. Holden war der erste US-Gouverneur, der seines Amtes enthoben wurde (Vorwurf der Korruption). Holden war zwar ein starker Befürworter der Sklaverei, trotzdem hat er sich verdient gemacht in der Bekämpfung des Ku Kux Klans.
