Die vom Senat des Staates Kentucky für zunächst 30 Jahre erteilte Konzession wurde mehrfach verlängert. Neben der Hauptbank in Louisville besaß die Bank bereits wenige Jahre nach ihrer Gründung Filialen in Frankfort, Lexington, Maysville, Danville, Greensburg, Bowling Green und Hopkinsville. Interessanterweise hatte jede Filiale ihren eigenen, betragsmäßig genau bezifferten Anteil am Eigenkapital der Gesamtbank.
