Kleine Brauerei mit einem jährlichen Bierabsatz von kaum mehr als 10.000 hl. Zum Verlustausgleich beschloß die Generalversammlung 1894 die Umwandlung von 200 Aktien in 5 %ige Vorzugsaktien gegen eine Zuzahlung von 40 % des Nennwertes. Die Börsennotiz in Leipzig wurde 1922 eingestellt, nachdem die Riebeck-Brauerei als Großaktionär Ende 1921 einen Umtausch der Wurzen-Aktien in Riebeck-Aktien durchgebracht hatte. 1946 in Volkseigentum überführt, 1965 wurde der VEB Brauerei Wurzen geschlossen. | | Specials: | Äußerst dekorativ, ornamentreiche Umrahmung mit Putten.
