Nach Reorganisation 1885 als Mobile & Birmingham Railway kam noch die 89 Meilen lange Verlängerung vom Tombigbee River zur Marion Junction, Ill. hinzu (dort Anschluß an die Southern Ry.) Das ergab eine 150 Meilen lange Bahn von der Marion Jct. an der Southern Ry. (an die die M&B auch verpachtet war) nach Mobile, Ala. Schon 1892 erneut zahlungsunfähig und dann 1895 unter sonst gleichem Namen als „Railroad“ reorganisiert. Die gehörte zwar zum Einflußbereich der Southern Ry., behielt nominell aber bis heute ihre Selbständigkeit und ist jetzt eine operativ nicht mehr tätige Tochtergesellschaft der Norfolk Southern. | | Specials: | Blauer Druck der ABNC. | | Condition: | VF+ | | Sold: | unsold |
