Seit 1913 gibt es im Süden der Stadt den Beutlerpark, ehemals Schanzenpark, der zu Ehren des verdienstvollen Oberbürgermeisters Gustav Otto Beutler 1926 in Beutlerpark umbenannt wurde. Auch ein "Milchhäuschen", das von der Molkerei Gebrüder Pfund betrieben wurde, gab es hier.
