Jh. wurde das Gebiet des heutigen Canadian County (im Umland des heutigen Oklahoma City, benannt nach dem Canadian River) von Weißen besiedelt. Der ständige Landraub der Weißen trieb die Cheyenne und Arapaho Indianer im Canadian County noch 1902 in ihre letzte Schlacht gegen US-Soldaten. Bis heute ist die Gegend von Landwirtschaft geprägt. Die kurz nach 1900 erbaute Mühle wurde 1936 durch ein Großfeuer vollkommen zerstört, aber schon im Jahr darauf wieder aufgebaut. | | Specials: | Adlervignette.
