Die Strecke verlief von Syracuse nach Baldwinsville (im Bundesstaat New York) über eine Entfernung von rund 23 km mit einer kurzen Abzweigung zum New York State Fair Gelände, die im Long Branch Park westlich der Stadt endete. Die Strecke war elektrizifiert. Bis 1911 verfügte das Unternehmen über 13 elektrische Schnellzüge, die täglich von Syracuse nach Baldwinsville, Phoenix, Fulton, Minetto und Oswego fuhren. Im Jahr 1917 wurde das Unternehmen als Empire State Railroad, auch Empire State Railway genannt, reorganisiert.
