Die Hochbahn nahm ihren regulären Passagierbetrieb 1893 auf. 1904 als Chicago & Oak Park Elevated Railway und erneut 1908 als „Railroad“ reorganisiert. 1911 auf Initiative des Straßenbahn-Tycoons Samuel Insull (der auch President der neuen Ges. wurde) Zusammenschluß der South Side Elevated RR, der Metropolitan West Side Elevated RR, der Chicago & Oak Park Elevated RR und der Northwestern Elevated RR zur Chicago Elevated Railways Collateral Trust (CER). | | Specials: | Rostrot/schwarzer WBNC-Stahlstich, zwei ungemein feine Vignetten mit leuchtender Jungfrau auf Flügelrad und Hochbahn-Zug über den Straßen von Chicago. | | Availability: | Unentwertet.
