Creditanstalt beteiligt war, wurde unter deren Mitwirkung 1908 in eine AG umgewandelt. Bereits 1914 erwarb die Schnellpressenfabrik Koenig & Bauer aus Würzburg zunächst im Verein mit der Verkehrsbank Schoeller & Co., dann zur Gänze alle Aktien. Hergestellt wurden Wertpapierdruckmaschinen, Druckereimaschinen, Werkzeugmaschinen sowie Elektroantriebe für Armaturen.
