Die Hauptstrecke führte ab Jacksonville entlang der Ostküste Richtung Süden nach St. Augustine, Titusville, West Palm Beach, Miami und endete vorerst in Florida City (351 Meilen). Hinter der Bahn stand der frühere Standard-Oil-Magnat und Milliardär Henry M.
