Harzheim aus Köln, fortan hieß die Marke nicht mehr ABD-Kölsch, sondern Kess-Kölsch. 1979 abermaliger Namenswechsel, die Braustätte in Dormagen hieß nun “Brauhaus zur Garde”. 1998 waren noch 35 Mitarbeiter tätig.
