place: | Paris | | Picture: |  | | Number: | 4047 | | Info: | Gründung 1910. Automobilhersteller aus Suresnes. Das erste Automobil dieser Firma besaß 1-Zylinder-Viertaktmotor, der 35 HP leistete. Der Le Zèbre besaß außerdem zwei Gänge und Gelenkwellenantrieb. 1913 begann Le Zèbre mit dem Verkauf des 8 HP, einem weiteren kleinen Modell, das aber mit einem Vierzylinder-Reihenmotor ausgestattet war. Der 8 HP besaß ein mechanisches 3-Gang-Getriebe und kam auf eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 55 km/h. Unmittelbar nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg entwarf Jules Salomon ein Modell für Le Zèbre, bevor er das berühmte 5 CV Modell für Citroen baute. Das letzte auf dem Pariser Salon 1931 vorgestellte Le Zèbre-Modell war ein mit 1-Zylinder-Gegenkolben-Dieselmotor, welches aber nicht mehr in die Serie ging. | | Availability: | Äußerst selten.
