Packard lieferte sogar die Karosseriewerkzeuge für das russische Prestige-Auto ZIS. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg bot Packard weiterhin den Reihen-Achtzylinder an und war damit nicht mehr so ganz auf der Höhe der Zeit. 1954 Fusion mit Studebaker, was den Niedergang aber nur verzögerte.
