Bei ihrer Gründung importierte sie auch 109 Percheron-Pferde aus Frankreich (47 Hengste und 62 Stuten) für Zuchtzwecke. Diese Kaltblut-Rasse war ursprünglich als schweres Zug- und Arbeitspferd gezüchtet.
