(es war deren frühere Strecke östlich der Cascade Mountains). Als die NP 1896 insolvent wurde, musste sie die Seattle, Lake Shore & Eastern aufgeben und deren Bahnen gingen in der Konkursversteigerung 1896 an zwei Nachfolgegesellschaften. Dieser schwere strategische Verlust ließ die NP aber nicht ruhen: Schon 1898 brachte sie die Strecke wieder unter ihre Kontrolle, indem sie einfach die beiden Nachfolger aufkaufte. | | Availability: | Überhaupt nur 2 ausgestellte Stücke lagen im Northern Pacific Archiv, und auch die “unissued” sind selten. | | Condition: | UNC | | Sold: | unsold |
