place: | Brüssel | | Picture: |  | | Number: | 158899 | | Info: | Die allerste Istanbuler Verkehrsgesellschaft war die von Konstantin Krepano Efendi 1869 gegründete “Société des Tramways de Constantinople”, die ab 1871 vier Pferdbahn-Linien in Betrieb genommen hatte. 1912 mußte der Betrieb der Pferdebahn vorübergehend fast ein Jahr ruhen, da alle Pferde aufgrund des Befehls vom Verteidigungsminister an die Front mußten, in den Balkan Krieg. Die 1914 mit belgischem Kapital gegründete neue Straßenbahngesellschaft sollte ein Elektrizitätswerk und Straßenbahnnetz bauen und betreiben. 1928 wurden die Straßenbahnstrecken in dem anatolischen Teil Istanbuls in Betrieb genommen (zwischen Üsküdar und Kisikli). 1929 wurde die Gesellschaft umbenannt in “Transports, Électricité et Gaz S.A.” | | Specials: | Ein Stück aus der Kapitalerhöhung von 27 Mio.
