Fusioniert 1901 mit der Nürnberger Spritfabrik und 1908 mit weiteren Wettbewerbern in Berlin-Lichtenberg und Breslau zur “Vereinigte Nord- und Süddeutsche Spritwerke und Preßhefefabrik AG”, seit 1922 dann kurz “Bast AG”. 1937/38 Bau moderner Werkstätten, einer Werksiedlung, eines Schwimmbades und eines Sportplatzes, deshalb ab 1938 fünf Jahre in Folge als “nationalsozialistischer Musterbetrieb” ausgezeichnet. Bis 1941 in Berlin, dann in München börsennotiert. Das Werk Nürnberg-Buch erlitt nur geringe Kriegsschäden und konnte nach nur wenigen Wochen Stillstand im April 1945 die Produktion von Preßhefe und Spiritus wieder aufnehmen. 1965 in die “Bast Hefe- und Spirituswerke GmbH” umgewandelt. | | Specials: | Blindprägesiegel mit Brezel.
