Bekannt wurde später vor allem die Couzinet 70, mit der J. Mermoz 1933 in nur 14 Stunden den Südatlantik von Senegal nach Brasilien überquerte - der Startschuß für den dann 1934 eingerichteten Liniendienst der Aéropostale nach Südamerika.
