Ab dort führte sie als „New York & Long Branch RR“ zur Bay Head Junction weiter. So kurz wie sie war, beförderte die Bahn doch schon in den ersten Betriebsjahren über 100.000 Fahrgäste im Jahr, außerdem Güterverkehr.
