Für eine Ausdehnung des Streckennetzes in den Staat Nebraska, die in Plattsmouth begann, wurde 1869 diese eigenständige Tochtergesellschaft gegründet. Im Sommer 1870 erreichten die Gleise Lincoln, das gerade erst zur Hauptstadt des Staates bestimmt worden war.
