Hugo Eidner 1890 zwei mechanische Wirkstühle und meldete in der Gemeinde Göppersdorf die Gründung einer Fabrikation an. Nach dem Hinzuerwerb einiger Wirkstühle mietete er eine Werkstatt an der Chemnitzer Straße (heute Don Bosco). 1922 wurde seine Fabrik in eine AG eingebracht. Als letzter großer Bau erfolgte 1927 die Aufstockung der mittleren Fabrik. Danach gab das Werk ca. 1200 Arbeitern mit der Produktion von Handschuhen, Strümpfen und Wirkwaren Lohn und Brot. 1949 enteignet und zusammen mit fünf weiteren Textilbetrieben (u.a.
