place: | Stettin | | Picture: |  | | Info: | Gründung 1911 als Überlandzentrale Stralsund mit den Kraftwerken Stralsund und Swinemünde. 1914 Hinzuerwerb des Kraftwerks Neubrandenburg. Weiter übernommen wurde 1924 die Überlandzentrale Belgard-Stolp AG und 1925 die Überlandzentrale Stettin. Die Stromerzeugung erfolgte zu 3/4 aus thermischen Kraftwerken und zu 1/4 aus Wasserkraftwerken. Aus dem Netz der Überlanzentrale wurden versorgt 2.815 Güter, 2.337 Gemeinden und Genossenschaften mit rd. 5 Mio. Morgen unter dem Pflug, 92 Städte, 4 Straßenbahnen und 1.320 Industrieanlagen. Großaktionär der in Stettin börsennotierten AG war anfangs der Provinzialverband von Pommern.
