Die Konzession beinhaltete den Bau und Betrieb einer Eisenbahnverbindung zwischen Duran und Quito, Streckenlänge 350 Meilen. Geplant war eine 6-jährige Bauzeit. Außerdem sollten von der Gesellschaft auch die Docks- und Hafenanlagen in Guayaquil und Duran am Guayas River gebaut und betrieben werden, ferner ein Fährbetrieb zwischen den beiden Städten aufgebaut werden (Strecke 1,75 Meilen).
