Trotz der Insolvenz im Sept. 2004 läuft der Betrieb für die 4.000 angeschlossenen Fachhändler (davon 60 % im europäischen Ausland) bis heute weiter. Seit 1967 gibt es auch das GARANT-Schuhmuseum, dessen ältestes Exponat ein ägyptischer Kinderschuh aus dem 7.
