Die Erzeugung von gebleichtem Strohzellstoff für die Papier- und Kartonherstellung in den Werken Coswig, Rheindürkheim und Dohna wurde parallel zur Stilllegung der fünf kleineren Fabriken erhöht. Das Werk Dohna wurde 1937 verkauft, das Werk Coswig 1946 auf Beschluss der Sächs. Landesregierung enteignet. 1948 Sitzverlegung nach Worms-Rheindürkheim und Umfirmierung in “Rheinische Strohzellstoff AG”. Eine schwere Krise des Zellstoffmarktes erzwang 1963 die Stilllegung des Betriebes und die Liquidation der AG.
