place: | Radeberg | | Picture: |  | | Number: | 92 | | Info: | Seit 1872 entwickelte sich Radeberg (hauptsächlich unter der Regierung von König Albert) zum Zentrum der sächsischen Glasfabrikation, die in der Nähe des Bahnhofs einen ganzen Stadtteil einnahm. Neben Hohl- und Tafelglas nahm nach der Jahrhundertwende auch die Glasraffinerie breiten Raum ein, in der bunte Glassachen wie Vasen angefertigt oder mittels Flußsäure Lampenglocken mit Mustern verziert wurden. Gegründet wurde diese AG 1923 zwecks Herstellung von Parivitgläsern, Bearbeitung von Hohl- und Preßgläsern mittels Malerei und Ätzerei. 1927 wurde das Kapital noch einmal kräftig erhöht, doch die Weltwirtschaftskrise machte der Firma den Garaus: 1932 in Liquidation getreten. | | Specials: | Lochentwertet (RB). | | Availability: | R 7 | | Condition: | EF | | Sold: | unsold |
