Herstellung von Eis- und Kühlmaschinen, Wasserturbinen, Werkzeugmaschinen, Kessel aller Art. 1930 wurde die Maschinenbau-Abteilung der in Liquidation befindlichen Sächsischen Maschinenfabrik vorm. Richard Hartmann AG in Chemnitz eingegliedert. Wegen der totalen Zerstörung des Stammbetriebes in der Fabrikstraße durch alliierte Luftangriffe 1945 wurde das Stammwerk aufgegeben und das bisherige Zweigwerk in Altchemnitz zum Hauptwerk ausgebaut. 1946 enteignet: VEB Apparate- und Anlagenbau Germania. Ab 1990 Germania Chemnitz GmbH, Apparate- und Anlagenbau. Nach dem Verkauf an ein indisches Unternehmen Gesamtvollstreckung.
