Der Textilbetrieb stellte mit in der Spitze 800 Mitarbeitern Bobinet-Gardinen, Bobinet-Tülle, Wirkereistoffe und Marquisettesgewebe her. Die Gardinen, Spitzen und Tülle wurden bis in die USA, Kanada, Australien, Südamerika und den vorderen Orient exportiert. 1965 in eine GmbH umgewandelt. Anfang der 1990er Jahre Einstellung der Gardinenproduktion, statt dessen wurden nun Autositzbezüge und Textilverkleidungen für KFZ-Innenräume hergestellt; schon damals stand Bobinet erstmals vor dem Aus. 1999 vom österreichischen Textilkonzern Eybl in Krems übernommen worden, nach dessen Insolvenz 2009 wurde auch das Bobinet/Eybl-Werk in Trier geschlossen. | | Availability: | R 8 | | Condition: | EF | | Sold: | 50,00 EUR |
