place: | Landshut | | Picture: |  | | Number: | 7773 | | Info: | Bereits 1489 wird am Landshuter Hammerbach eine Papiermühle gebaut. 1871 erwerben Christian Meyer und Viktoria Leinfelder die Papiermühle, brechen sie sogleich ab und errichten an der Stelle die noch heute stehende fünfstöckige Getreidemühle. 1898 nach dem Tod von Christian Meyer Umwandlung in eine AG. 1936 und 1970 wird die Mühle jeweils total umgebaut und erneuert. 1985 Spezialisierung auf die Bio-Vermahlung, 1996 als erste Mühle in ganz Europa nach der EG-Öko-Audit-Verordnung zertifiziert.
