Rückseitig übertragen auf Jay Gould als Trustee. Vorderseitig original signiert von H. G. Marquand als Vizepräsident. Henry Gurdon Marquand (1819-1902), großer Wall Street-Investor, kaufte 1874 die St. Louis, Iron Mountain & Southern Railway, die er bis 1881 als Vizepräsident und danach ein Jahr als Präsident leitete, bis er von Jay Gould ausgespielt wurde, der die Bahn für seine Missouri Pacific brauchte. Marquand war einer der größten Förderer des Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York und der Princeton Universität, in den Jahren 1889-1902 war er Präsident des Metropolitan Museums. | | Availability: | Niedrige Nr. 2!
