Hergestellt wurden elektrotechnische Porzellane für Hoch- und Niederspannung sowie Porzellanleuchten. 1919 Erwerb der bis dahin gepachteten Anlagen der Porzellanfabrik Auma GmbH. Großaktionär war die Fa. Brunnquell & Co., Sondershausen. 1946 enteignet und als VEB Porzellanwerk Auma weitergeführt. Nach der Wende zunächst an den US-amerikanischen Boart Longyear-Konzern privatisiert, 2006 an einen Fonds der Equita verkauft, heute als Barat Ceramics GmbH mit über 200 Beschäftigten ein Hersteller oxidkeramischer hochpräziser Bauteile für Medizintechnik, Maschinenbau, Mess- und Regeltechnik. | | Specials: | Sehr dekorativ, Abb.
