Nach David Ketchum dann aber umbenannt. Horace C. Lewis, Sohn von I. I. Lewis aus Ketchum gründete die Ketchum & Challis Toll Road. Die Gesellschaft baute die erste Straße über Trail Creek Summit, den Pioneer Mountains und den Boulder Mountains. Die Straße verband die Mienen mit der Union Pacific in Ketchum.
