In den 1920er Jahren wurden im Höchster Landkreis unter der französischer Besatzung mehrere Geschäftsstellen eröffnet: 1921 eine in Hofheim, 1922 in Kelkheim und 1928 in Eppstein. 1939 wurden alle bestehenden Zweigstellen aufgelöst. 1942 umbenannt in Volksbank Höchst.
