Bei Korinth wird der Kanal auf einer Brücke überschritten, dann teilt sich die Bahn in einen westlichen und einen östlichen Flügel, die gemeinsam den Peloponnes in der Art einer Ringbahn erschließen. Ausgeführt ist die Bahn, wie damals die Mehrzahl der griechischen Bahnen, in 1.000-mm-Schmalspur.
