Diese ergab zunächst nur geringe Ölmengen, doch als man noch etwas tiefer bohrte, erfolgten grosse Eruptionen, die eine Monatsproduktion von 750 t Schweröl mit einem spezifischen Gewicht von 0,92 erlaubten und das Abteufen einer zweiten Bohrung sinnvoll erscheinen ließen.
