Die Bahn beteiligte sich mit knapp 100% an der St. Louis & San Francisco RR (6.400 Meilen). Gleichzeitig hatte die Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Rail ROAD eine knapp 94%ige Beteiligung an der 1880 gegründeten Chicago, Rock Island & Pacfific RailWAY (7.400 Meilen). Diese wiederumg war beteiligt an der Chicago, Rock Island & El Paso (100 Meilen) und an der Chicago, Rock Island & Gulf Railway (490 Meilen).
