An gleicher Stelle bestand bereits seit 1832 das Moy’s Music Hall, ab 1863 unter Royal Standard Music Hall firmierend. | | Specials: | Ein Stück aus der Kapitalerhöhung von 80.000 auf 120.000 £. Detaillierte Vignette mit Straßenansicht des noch heute bestehenden Hauses. Das von Frank Matcham entworfene Gebäude wurde im Nov. 1911 eröffnet. Der Zuschauerraum hat 1550 Plätze und ist voll klimatisiert. Auf der Kuppel ist die Statue der Primaballerina Anna Pavlova zu sehen. 1939 wurde diese Statue vom Blitz getroffen, wurde abmontiert und verschwand. Erst im Jahr 2006 wurde eine mit Blattgold überzogene Replik der Statue an ihrem ursprünglichen Platz auf der Kuppel des Victoria Palace befestigt. | | Condition: | VF | | Sold: | unsold |
