Info:Kurz vor 1900 begann die EFSPRG in Ponta Grossa mit dem Bau ihrer Bahn: Nach Norden Richtung Itararé, nach Süden durch den Staat Parana bis zum Rio Iguacu, der wegen seiner berühmten Wasserfälle heute jedermann bekannt ist (und übrigens noch immer auf dieser Bahn erreicht werden kann). 1910 war die EFSPRG fertig: Im Okt. 1910 überschritt sie den Rio Iguacu mit einer Behelfsbrücke, was den Anschluß an das argentinische Streckennetz brachte. Im Dez. 1910 erreichte sie im Norden Marcelino Ramos im Staat Rio Grande do Sul. Schon vorher, 1909, ging sie mit dem ersten Eisenbahnraub in Brasilien in die Geschichte ein. Bei ihrer Fertigstellung 1910 übernahm sie auch noch drei Wettbewerber und besaß damit praktisch das Transportmonopol in den südlichen Bundesstaaten Brasiliens. Der Bau dieser Bahn hatte auch besonders große Bedeutung für die Immigration: Sie brachte Millionen von Einwanderern vor allem aus Italien, Deutschland, Polen sowie Syrien und dem Libanon in die von ihr durchquerten Gebiete. Auch die EFSPRG gehörte zum gewaltigen Konzern der BRAZIL RAILWAY und ging folglich 1917 mit dieser unter, die Bahnstrecken übernahm später der Staat.
Specials:Reich verzierte Umrahmung in leuchtendem Rot mit brasilianischem Wappen und Frontalansicht zweier Lokomotiven. Dreisprachig französisch/portugiesisch/englisch.
